Nigerians have expressed concern over the spate of impeachments in some states.
They spoke in interview with Space fm Correspondent in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
In his reaction, a Legal Practitioner, Lekan Ola, explained that procedures to impeachment, are not properly adhered to.
Others charged lawmakers to lead by example and respect the supremacy of the rule of law.
It would be recalled that Eight of the 30 lawmakers in the Benue State House of Assembly served impeachment notice on Governor Samuel Ortom.
Also, members of the Imo State House of Assembly removed the Deputy Governor of the state, Mr Eze Madumere, from office for alleged misconduct.
In Kano State, members of the State House of Assembly removed the Speaker, Yusuf Ata, and replaced him with Al-hassan Rurun, a former Speaker of the House.
