An Ibadan based broadcaster, Oriyomi Hamzat, has lauded the Department forward State Service, for his release, after being detained for weeks.
Hamzat gave the commendation when he featured on JE N WI TEMI, a Space FM 90.1 current affairs programme.
Hamzat who is also the manager of Agidigbo Radio Station, while narrating his arrest, said no reason was given.
He maintained that the operatives only requested for an interrogation at its custody.
He however said the new DSS boss in Abuja granted him an unconditional bail.
It would be recalled that the broadcaster was detained at the DSS office in Ibadan and later transferred to Abuja office of the Agency.
Some Nigerians had called for the release of the broadcaster, whose arrest, according to them, was unlawful and an infringement on press freedom.
